As you can see the cake is slightly wonky all over...I had a lot of trouble with the letters since I dried them out on a flat surface and what do you know, of course they could not be properly attached to a round surface after that. Well, you live and learn. The little fairy on top is the only store bought thing, my Mother aka the Grandmother baked the cake which was a vanilla sponge , and I myself decorated it with the help of my Sister. There was a number three made out of fondant as well that was supposed to go on top, but it broke in half in the process of putting it in place and there was no time to make a new one.
